Ingredients:
100 ml milk
140 g flour
8 g carbonate
1 packet of vanilla
5 g grated orange peel
For syrup:
300 g sugar
300 g water
1 slice of lemon
To fry:
600 ml sunflower oil
For syrup; boil sugar and water in a saucepan and add the lemon slice and continue to boil for 2-3 minutes then let it cool. For the dough, whisk eggs, milk, flour, grated orange peel, carbonate and vanilla in a deep bowl. The mixture should have the consistency of cake. Heat the sunflower oil in a deep saucepan. Then take one teaspoon from the mixture and throw it into the hot oil. When the dough is fried, use a colander and take the dough and transfer it into the syrup. Take the fried dough after 2-3 minutes from syrup to a serving plate. You can serve with coconut or walnut topping on request.
