Ingredients:
45 gr rice
For boiling the rice:
400 ml hot water
For preparing zerde:
800 ml water
200 gr sugar
2 gr saffron
30 ml rose water
30 gr wheat starch (dissolved in 40 ml water)
Boil washed rice for 10 minutes. Drain and wash boiled rice with cold water to remove the starch on it. To prepare the zerde; put the water in a pot and add sugar, saffron, rose water then mix. Add boiled rice into the pan and let it boil by mixing a couple times. Dissolve the wheat starch in water and pour it into zerde slowly. Let it boil for 3 more minutes. Then, take the boiling zerde from the stove and pour into little serving bowls. Serve cold.
