Ingredients:
1 kg pumpkin
400 g sugar
For the topping:
40 g crushed walnut
The peeled and thoroughly washed pumpkins are cut as desired shape and placed on a deep baking tray. Add sugar to the pumpkins and keep the pumpkins for 1 night with the lid closed. After 1 night pumpkins will leave it’s water. Cover the baking tray with a large pot lid and start to cook on low heat. When the pumpkins are soft, take the tray from the stove and bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for 10 minutes. After the pumpkings are cooled, take them on a serving plate and serve with crushed walnuts.
