Ingredients:
45 gr butter
300 gr frozen okra
120 gr boiled chickpea
1 medium size onion
1 medium size tomato
300 ml water
Juice of 1 lemon
4 garlic cloves
15 gr salt
1 gr black pepper
If you want to prepare your own boiled chickpea and not use a canned one, put them in a hot water with salt and let it stay for at least 12 hours. Then, drain the chickpea and boil at medium fire. You shouldn´t mix the pot until the chickpea is cooked.
Slice the onion very thin and shape of half moon. Grate the garlic. Melt the butter in a pot and add both onions and garlic, cook for 3 minutes. Meanwhile, cube the tomato. After the onions are golden, add okra and cook for 2 more minutes. Then add in this order, the chickpea and tomato cubes on okra. Add lemon juice and pepper. Pour the water into the pot, put a lid on it and cook for 30 minutes. Serve warm.
