Ingredients:
1 kg okra
2 medium size onions
2 medium size tomatoes
1 medium size carrot
1 medium size yellow pepper
1 medium size red pepper
3 cloves garlic
Juice of 1 lemon
800 ml hot water
15 gr sugar
100 ml olive oil
15 gr salt
2 gr black pepper
Pour the half of the water in a pot and put the okras that you cleaned before in it. Pour the lemon juice into the pot and boil for 2 minutes. Then drain, wash with cold water and drain again. Heat the olive oil in a pot. Slice the onions in shape of half moon and cook in oil until they are golden. Add in this order; grated garlic, thin sliced carrot, yellow/red pepper and tomato cubes, okra then mix. Add salt, black pepper and sugar. Pour rest of the water into the pot, mix one last time and close a lid on it. Cook at medium fire for 25 minutes. Serve cold.
