Ingredients:
500 g lamb cubed meat
2 tablespoons of butter
1 large onion
2 cups boiled chickpeas
1 tablespoon tomato paste
3 cups of hot water
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Preparation:
Chop the large onion into small pieces. Put the butter in a saucepan and melt it. Put the onions in the pot and fry them in the melted butter until they turn color. Next, add the tomato paste and stir. Put the lamb cubes, which you wash in plenty of water and drain the excess water, into the pot and roast over medium heat until they turn color. Add salt and pepper. Add the boiled chickpeas. Finally, add enough hot water to cover the chickpeas by a finger thickness. Continue cooking the stew in the pot with the lid on over medium heat for about 40 minutes. Serve hot.
